Every company’s recruiting needs are different, and at Burnett’s we offer a variety of different hiring styles to fill your openings in the way that suits your business best. These styles are temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire, each of which offers its own benefits. Here’s a little overview of these three placement types.
Temporary Staffing
Many people think of temporary jobs as very short-term work, such as seasonal jobs during busy times of year. This can be true, but other temp jobs may last as long as a year or more, depending on the precise need. If you have a big project and you want someone to work on it in-house, but you don’t have a need for that type of service permanently, you may want to hire someone on a temporary basis. Temporary workers can also be found to replace people on sabbatical or other extended leave.
Temporary-to-Hire Staffing
One of our most popular programs, the temporary-to-hire track allows employers to take on workers on a temporary basis and see how well they fit in with the company while providing their skills. We find that many employers like to hire these workers, and we celebrate by providing our “Shining Star” award to the new employee at the office! It’s a great way for both sides to make sure they’ve found the right fit…but we’re good at our jobs, so they usually have!
Direct Hiring
Sometimes you just need to hire a new permanent, full-time employee. You have a big new project, someone decided to leave, a million different things can happen in business on any given day. In this case, we provide exactly what your business needs: the best employee for the job.
