Our Story
In the spring of 1966, Paul W. & Joyce Burnett left their careers to start Burnett’s Great Southwest Employment Services in Arlington, Texas. Their vision was to create an employment service company that made a difference in the lives of those they served through unrivaled service, honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Fun fact, Burnett’s Staffing initially specialized in direct hire placement where the job seeker paid the fee! In 1985 their son, Paul D. Burnett, joined the family business. With much success and to better serve the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Burnett’s grew and added offices in Las Colinas, Fort Worth, North Dallas, Downtown Dallas, North Arlington, South Arlington, Alliance Area, Addison, Frisco, McKinney, and Plano.
Burnett’s Staffing was honored as the 1988 recipient of the Norval Locke Award, the staffing industry’s highest honor. Additionally, Burnett’s Staffing has been recognized as the City of Arlington’s Large Employer of the Year and the Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Award winner. In 2017, Burnett’s was awarded the American Staffing Association’s Genius Award Grand Award. Burnett’s Staffing has won additional awards and recognition over the years, and the credit is all due to our team members. To be in business since 1966, and still be recognized as a staffing leader, shows our team’s commitment to professionalism and quality service.
Today, Burnett’s Staffing is still family owned and operated. Paul W. & Joyce’s grandson, Brayden, joined his father, Paul D., in the family business in 2014. Burnett’s is still headquartered in the original building Paul W. and Joyce built in 1966 in Arlington, Texas. Our mission remains the same; to provide the highest quality service to help employers grow their teams and professionals advance their careers. The loyalty and perseverance of our team, along with the relationships forged, enable us to serve thousands of employers and job seekers.
